These trousers in natural hemp cloth were piece-dyed as a whole and so acquired their authentic patina. The classic Lampasse adorns the side seam, and genuine horn Lederhosen buttons ensure a dependable fastening.
The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by human hands and is found in almost all parts of the world. The hemp fibre, obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a textile-making tradition thousands of years old. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, its characteristic properties are valued by G\u00f6ssl, who makes it the base fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet dimensionally stable and barely creases.
