The Gilet in genuine hemp has been patinated as a whole, so that edges and seams emerge discreetly. It presents itself casually with a lapel collar and patch pockets, and the button placket is adorned with shining 50-Groschen buttons.
The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by humans and is found in almost every part of the world. The hemp fibre, which is obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a tradition in textile production going back thousands of years. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, Gössl values its characteristic properties and makes it the basic fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet holds its shape and hardly creases.
