Airy, light hemp shirt – versatile as nature itself
The shirt jacket in natural hemp is a loosely cut shirt with particularly versatile qualities. It can be worn classically as a shirt, or as a light substitute for a jacket – slipped over the Pfoad, the traditional shirt, for instance, it keeps unpleasant draughts away. A special process gives the shirt its particularly expressive patina, which comes to the fore at the edges and pockets. The turn-down collar appears in a light contrast of genuine deerskin, and horn buttons provide a clean fastening.
The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by humans and is found in almost every part of the world. The hemp fibre, obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a tradition thousands of years old in textile production. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, its characteristic qualities are valued by Gössl, which makes it the base fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet dimensionally stable and hardly creases.
