The fine Hanfhose (hemp trousers) from the Gössl Edition presents itself as the summer variant of the traditional Lederhose, with a pleasantly light fit. In vertical lines it shows geometric corded quilting that traces the much-loved Lampasse. Lederhosen buttons round off these genuinely masculine summer trousers perfectly.
The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by human beings and is found in almost all parts of the world. The hemp fibre, which is obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a tradition in textile production many thousands of years old. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, its characteristic properties are valued by Gössl, which makes it the basic fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet holds its shape and hardly creases.
