These trousers in patinated hemp bring together the best of two worlds: the classic trouser fastening with a double-eagle button meets the traditional silhouette of the Lederhose with its buttoned hem. They sit pleasantly light and radiate a relaxed restraint; the Lederhosen button heads are of real horn.
The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by people and is found in almost all parts of the world. The hemp fibre, obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a tradition in textile making many thousands of years old. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, its characteristic qualities are valued by G\u00f6ssl, which makes it the basic fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet holds its shape and hardly creases.
