Gilet in pure virgin wool. The eye-catchers are the Paspel (piping) pockets with leather. Lined with pure silk. Piped buttonholes.
Silk lining
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for people with allergies and asthma, as natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and provides a luxurious feel when worn.
Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric neatly enclose the edges. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance. It is regarded as a mark of high-quality workmanship and gives the Gwand a quiet, refined and long-lasting character.
