Ausseer colours
The rich green stands for the woods and meadows of the Ausseer Land, the delicate pink for the Almröschen (alpine roses) and the strong-charactered purple for the gentian. Gössl has taken these meaningful colours and their tradition into its own DNA as a fixed star.
Since antiquity the oak leaf has been regarded as a sign of solidity and reliability. The traditional embroideries are a classic motif of Tracht. They transfer these qualities symbolically from the Gwand to its admirer.
Silk
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, as natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and provides a luxurious feel when worn.
Paspel buttonholes
Paspel buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric neatly enclose the edges. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance.
