Lapel jacket in quilted summer Walk. Walk and wadding have been quilted into a warming layer. The sleeve trim in traditional purl/purl knit gives structure. Genuine Lederhosen buttons made of horn. Lining in pure silk. Piped buttonholes.
Summer Walk
With Walk cloth, knitted wool is refined in the fulling mill under the influence of water, warmth and steam, so that the individual virgin wool fibres, with their roof-tile-like structure, interlock ever more densely and compact into a homogeneous fabric. In this way the cloth gains its incomparable resilience and regulates temperature. The unique surface of the cloth repels dirt, lets water bead off and is windproof.
Silk lining
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, since natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and provides a luxurious feel when worn.
Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric neatly enclose the edges. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance.
