Ausseer colours
The rich green stands for the woods and meadows of the Ausseer Land, the delicate pink for the Almröschen (alpine roses) and the strong-charactered purple for the gentian. Gössl has taken these meaningful colours and their tradition into its own DNA as a fixed star.
Jacquard
Twenty years after the invention of the mechanical loom in 1785, the pioneering spirit of the French silk weaver Joseph-Marie Jacquard led to a groundbreaking innovation. He found a way to raise and lower the warp threads individually for each weft thread. What sounds very technical opened up the possibility of weaving patterns of a fineness hardly imaginable until then into the fabric . That historical jacquard looms are still used today to make authentic fabrics for church, theatre and Tracht stands as a symbol of the inventor's success. Gössl combines the jacquard technique with traditional patterns of Tracht.

Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes in which narrow strips of fabric enclose the edges cleanly. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance.
