Dirndl with hand-block pattern

The Dirndl with a bodice of Original Bauernleinen and a skirt in Anna Plochl satin shows a Munich neckline and fine metal buttons. The skirt presents the patterns of historical hand-printing blocks, which innovative technique has now made it possible to print all over and offset. The bodice has been refined with a hand-worked daisy, and at the back a traditional witch stitch appears.

Bauernleinen

In the Alpine region, Original Bauernleinen, farmer's linen, has long been an important part of cultural history. Here the cotton is woven in a particular way, so that the cloth gains lightly breathable and moisture-regulating properties. Its luxuriously shimmering surface is wonderfully soft and smooth.
