This Salzburger Dirndl blouse is made from fine Anna Plochl satin. It fastens with buttons of freshwater mother-of-pearl. Delicate, lightly transparent frills play around the neckline and the sleeve hem. The back is adorned with an unmistakable Gössl symbol: the hand-embroidered herringbone stitch with the delicate daisy at the centre back.
Anna-Plochl satin
the cotton is woven in a particular way, so that the fabric acquires lightly breathable and moisture-regulating properties. Its luxuriously shimmering surface is wonderfully soft and smooth. The fabric is surrounded by an aura of restrained elegance and a love of the exclusive.
Herringbone stitch and daisy stitch
The herringbone stitch is a traditional hand embroidery technique in which fine, crossed stitches create a seam that is decorative and stable at the same time. It gives the Gwand a characterful, hand-crafted texture and is often used as a symbolic detail for good fortune.
The daisy stitch is a delicate, floral form of embroidery in which blossom-like loops are formed. It appears playful and elegant at once and brings a light, natural ornamentation to the Gwand. Both stitches stand for traditional handwork and loving attention to detail.
The mother-of-pearl
Mother-of-pearl is a natural solid substance found in the shells of molluscs. Its surface shimmers opal-like depending on how the light falls. With their lustre, mother-of-pearl buttons give every model that certain something. The facet cut lends the lustre of the mother-of-pearl additional fire - just as one knows it from sparkling gemstones.
