The coat is the perfect complement to the Dirndl. It falls loosely and can be waisted with the belt, taking on the elegant, feminine line of the Dirndl. The ideal companion for cool days. Thanks to the dark shade, it combines with almost any Dirndl. Wide shawl collar. Lining in pure silk. Piped buttonholes (Paspel).
Silk lining
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for those with allergies and asthma, as natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and gives a luxurious feel when worn.
Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric enclose the edges cleanly. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance. It is regarded as a mark of high-quality construction and gives the Gwand a quiet, refined and long-lasting character.
