The blouse in airy linen shows true textile artistry: along the button placket a magnificent waffle smocking unfolds with refined lines. The individual pleats are worked out more sculpturally still with defined edges. Regular changes in the direction of the pleats give the whole composition additional depth. The smocking, as well as the sleeves and hem, are finished with a set-off hemstitch. Thread buttons stand in a row along the button placket.
