Loden
In earlier times the farmers' wives and maids spun the wool into firm threads in winter. The weaver made cloth from it, before the magical fulling process began. To this day, original Loden cloth is made from wool in the traditional hammer fulling mill under the action of moisture, soap, warmth and friction. Step by step a wondrous fabric comes into being, whose versatile properties have always fascinated and inspired Gössl. It repels wind and weather, is breathable and pleasant against the skin. In Tracht, structure and colour are today a mark of quality and lasting value.
Silk lining
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, as natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and gives a luxurious feel when worn.
Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric neatly enclose the edges. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance.
