With every model this fascinating spectacle turns out a little differently, making each Gilet unique. Fibonacci buttons in metal complete this dream of a Gilet.
Blue printing – intense and expressive
Blue printing has a long tradition in Austria. It is a true craft, perfected early on and preserved across centuries. With its strong colour and its contrasting effect, traditional blue printing has an immediately fascinating presence. The numerous details that make up genuine blue printing arise above all from the demanding production process. For what is printed is precisely what will not be dyed later. Traditional motifs are printed on in precise handwork with pure acacia resin. The natural drying process that follows takes up to ten weeks. Only once it is certain that the resin can fully withstand the dye is the fabric immersed in the dye bath. Gössl takes up this heritage of textile refinement humbly, but does not shy away from adding further chapters to this success story and enriching traditional fabrics and refinement techniques with new variations. Combined with new colours, Gössl shows blue printing as the versatile all-rounder of Tracht.
