Embroidery Dirndl

The Dirndl with a Munich neckline in patinated Original Bauernleinen shows playful paisley patterns in fine flat-stitch embroidery on the front and back. Bauernleinen

The Original Bauernleinen, the farmer's linen, has long been an important part of the cultural history of the Alpine region. The linen cloth was ever-present in everyday life: bed linen, table linen, Gwand – everywhere the Bauernleinen showed its singularity through its characteristic structure. The slubs of the spun yarns also stand out in the woven fabric, its changeable appearance makes the Bauernleinen unmistakable and singular. Here the cotton is woven in a particular way, so that the fabric acquires slightly breathable and moisture-regulating properties. Its luxuriously shimmering surface is wonderfully soft and smooth.
