Ausseer in silk

The classic Dirndl in shot Dupion silk presents itself in the traditional Ausseer colours. The Münchner neckline is adorned with a fine Paspel (piping), and the hem is finished with a narrow Kittelblech (hem band). The genuine mother-of-pearl buttons shimmer in a delicate pink.

Dupion silk

Dupion silk is a noble natural silk with a characterful, slightly irregular structure that arises from the spinning of double cocoons. Its lively shimmer gives the fabric particular depth and expression. At the same time it is pleasantly firm to the hand, keeps its shape and always appears elegant – ideal for high-quality, festive Gwand.

Ausseer colours

The rich green stands for the forests and meadows of the Ausseer Land, the delicate pink for the Almröschen (alpine roses) and the characterful purple for the gentian. Gössl has taken these meaningful colours and their tradition into its own DNA as a fixed star.
