Loden

In times past, the farmers' wives and maids spun the wool
into firm threads in winter. The weaver made cloth from it, before
the magical fulling process began. To this day, under the action
of moisture, soap, warmth and friction, original Loden cloth is made
from wool in the traditional hammer fulling mill.
Piece by piece a wondrous cloth comes into being, whose versatile
properties have always fascinated and inspired Gössl - here worked into the
sleeve. It turns away wind and weather, is breathable
and pleasant against the skin. Structure and colour are today a mark
of quality and lasting value in Tracht.

The red fox

The red fox comes from local hunting. Hunting in the
Alpine region has an important task: to preserve the natural balance
of flora and fauna and to support ecosystems.
Because of the strong anti-fur lobby, however, the red fox has unjustly fallen
into disrepute, so that this valuable treasure of nature now often ends up
in the rubbish. We wish to point out this undesirable development and to create
an awareness of this wonderful and sustainable raw material.

Silk lining

is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, as natural substances in silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and provides a luxurious feel when worn.
