Ischler Loden jacket

Then began the characteristic fulling process, in which, under the influence of moisture, soap, warmth and friction in the traditional hammer fulling mill, the unmistakable Loden cloth came into being. Step by step a unique cloth develops in this way, whose versatile properties have always fascinated and inspired. Loden repels wind and weather, is breathable and pleasant on the skin. Structure and colouring are still regarded in Tracht today as an expression of quality and lasting value.
