The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by humans and is found in almost every part of the world. The hemp fibre, obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a tradition in textile making that is thousands of years old. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, its characteristic properties are valued by Gössl, which makes it the basic fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet dimensionally stable and hardly creases.
