This Wiesn apron is made from a finely woven cotton jacquard. The weave gives the pattern depth and structure, so that it comes into its own quietly in the light. Worn with the Dirndl, the apron sets the tone without drowning it out.
Where the bow sits has been handed down: tied on the left, the wearer is not yet spoken for; on the right, her heart already belongs to another; in the middle ties the woman who does not wish to commit; at the back, the widow. The double apron ribbon from Gössl allows a great deal here, from the quiet knot to the fanned bow.
