Made for the Dirndl
This bow blouse belongs under the Dirndl bodice, where the sleeves and the bow remain visible. That is exactly where it sets its tone: the light sheen of the satin beside the matt bodice, the tied bow above the neckline. It is worked in Anna Plochl satin, a fabric of pure cotton.
The fabric is woven in a particular weave and thus remains breathable and moisture-regulating, its surface soft and smooth. It takes its name from Anna Plochl, the commoner wife of Archduke Johann of Austria.
