Loden
In times past, the farmers' wives and maids spun the wool into firm threads in winter. The weaver made cloth from it, before the magical fulling process began. To this day, original Loden cloth is made from wool in the traditional hammer fulling mill under the action of moisture, soap, warmth and friction. Step by step a wondrous cloth comes into being, whose versatile properties have always fascinated and inspired Gössl. It repels wind and weather, is breathable and pleasant against the skin. Structure and colour are today a mark of quality and lasting value in Tracht.
Lederhosen buttons
The classic Lederhosen button adorns not only chamois-tanned leather; Gössl also uses it on jackets and knitwear. The varied grain of the horn makes every button unique. Shades of colour from deep black to beige allow it to be used on the most diverse fabrics.
Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are a particularly fine form of construction, in which the buttonhole is precisely bound with narrow strips of fabric. They are regarded as a sign of high tailoring craft, as they are worked by hand with great care and give the Gwand an elegant, quiet and durable finish.
