Made from lye-treated Original Bauernleinen (farmer's linen), this unlined jacket is wonderfully uncomplicated and puristic. The stonewash process gives the jacket a wonderfully soft handle. The Lampasse is embossed into the metal buttons.
Bauernleinen
In the Alpine region, Original Bauernleinen has long been an important part of cultural history. The linen cloth was omnipresent in everyday life: bed linen, table linen, Gwand – everywhere the Bauernleinen showed its singularity through its characteristic structure. The thickenings of the spun yarns also stand out in the woven fabric, and its changeable appearance makes the Bauernleinen unmistakable and singular.
