The classic jacket is made of soft, elastic Mautner Authentic with a lining of pure silk. The supple woollen fabric follows every movement and sits comfortably loose. The lapel collar has been trimmed in gentle contrast with genuine deerskin. Lederhosen buttons of real horn round off this adaptable companion with skill. Piped buttonholes.
Piped (Paspel) buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric enclose the edges cleanly. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance. It is regarded as a mark of high-quality workmanship and lends the Gwand a quiet, refined and long-lasting character.
Silk lining
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, as natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and provides a luxurious feel on the body.
