The hemp
Hemp is the first plant cultivated by people and is found in almost all parts of the world. The hemp fibre, obtained from dried hemp straw through various working steps, looks back on a tradition in textile making that is thousands of years old. Somewhat forgotten in recent decades, it is valued by Gössl for its characteristic properties and made the basic fabric of its ideas. Hemp is light and supple, yet keeps its shape and hardly creases.
