Stripes, mother-of-pearl and a Gamserl
A light shirt with a fine stripe, with linen running through its weave. That makes the fabric airy and gives it a somewhat livelier handle than a smooth shirting weave has. It fastens with mother-of-pearl buttons, and of course the Gamserl (little chamois) is not missing.
It is worn casually with Tracht as in everyday life, open over the trousers or closed under the waistcoat. At Gössl the chamois stands for the bond between people and the mountains at home, and over the years it has become the hallmark of the house.
