Hexenstich and daisy stitch
The Hexenstich is a traditional hand embroidery technique in which fine, crossed stitches create a decorative and at the same time sturdy seam. It gives the Gwand a characterful, hand-crafted structure and is often used as a symbolic detail for good fortune.
The daisy stitch is a delicate, floral form of embroidery in which blossom-like loops are formed. It appears playful and elegant at once and brings a light, natural ornamentation to the Gwand. Both stitches stand for traditional handwork and loving attention to detail.
