These Stutzen, the knitted calf warmers, in merino wool show the traditional cable pattern knitted in plating in a light contrast. A knitted-in calf section and the Lampasse form the finish.
Merino wool
The wool of the merino sheep is a particular form of virgin wool. Its fibres are especially fine and pliable. That makes them wonderfully soft and gentle to the touch. It does not scratch and is nonetheless cosily warm. Merino wool is also breathable and temperature-balancing, so that merino models give pleasure all year round.
