Cashmere

Cashmere is the name given to the fleece of a goat native to the high valleys of Tibet and the Himalayas on the one hand and to Mongolia on the other. This particular goat has a markedly fine and soft wool, which protects it against extreme cold of down to -40 degrees. Cashmere feels far softer and warmer than sheep's wool and is above all isothermic - that is, heat-exchanging. With these properties, cashmere puts sheep's wool in the shade. What is more, cashmere models can be worn directly on bare skin if you wish, without scratching.
