This hand-knitted Edition cardigan is knitted in plain stitch from pure merino wool. Precious hand embroidery with wrapped roses and leaf motifs in the Ausseer colours adorns the front. Raised binding edge worked tone on tone.
Ausseer colours
The rich green stands for the woods and meadows of the Ausseer Land, the delicate pink for the Almröschen (alpine roses) and the strong-charactered purple for the gentian. Gössl has taken these meaningful colours and their tradition into its own DNA as a fixed star.
Merino wool
The wool of the merino sheep is a particular form of virgin wool. Its fibres are especially fine and pliable. That makes it especially soft to the touch and wonderfully gentle. It does not scratch and is nevertheless snugly warm. Merino wool is also breathable and temperature-balancing, so that merino models bring pleasure all year round.
