Purl/purl knit
Purl-purl knit is a traditional way of knitting in which only purl stitches are worked. This creates an even, lightly structured surface with a soft hand. The technique gives the knitted garment particular elasticity, stability of shape and a quiet, craftsmanlike appearance.
Cable pattern
The cable pattern is possibly the most traditional knitting pattern of the Alpine region. Its distinctive character has made it a favourite of knitting technique. Its interlaced form is a little reminiscent of the running dog motif, with the curves winding around one another in relief. Gössl loves this classic and is always glad to knit it into its models.
Mother-of-pearl
Mother-of-pearl is a natural solid substance found in mussel shells. Depending on how the light falls, its surface shimmers like opal. With their lustre, mother-of-pearl buttons give every model that certain something. The facet cut lends the mother-of-pearl lustre additional fire - just as one knows it from sparkling gemstones.
