Plated cardigan with brocade pattern

The fitted jacket is knitted from fine, wonderfully soft merino wool in a demanding brocade pattern and plated in two colours. One colour stays in the foreground, the other recedes into the background, so that an impressive three-dimensional structure emerges. Openwork leaf patterns are placed along the button placket and at the centre back. Shimmering mother-of-pearl buttons with a lasered blossom motif complete this desirable jacket.

Merino wool

The wool of the merino sheep is a particular form of virgin wool. Its fibres are especially fine and pliable. That makes it especially tender to the touch and wonderfully soft. It does not scratch and is nevertheless cosily warm. Merino wool is also breathable and temperature-balancing, so that merino models give pleasure all year round.

Ajouré

"Ajouré" is French for "openwork". In textile art, ajour or eyelet embroidery is a highly complex, lace-like knit formed by increasing and decreasing stitches as well as by individual crossed stitches. This gives rise to filigree patterns with textured surfaces, which merge with fine holes and bars into an impressive melange. The resulting air permeability makes ajour knitwear a welcome companion especially in summer.
