Bauernleinen
Original Bauernleinen, the farmhouse linen of the Alpine region, has long been an important part of its cultural history. The linen cloth was ever-present in everyday life: bed covers, table linen, Gwand — everywhere the Bauernleinen showed its singularity through its characteristic structure. The thickenings of the spun yarns also stand out in the woven fabric, and its changeable appearance makes the Bauernleinen unmistakable and singular. Gössl takes the tradition and individuality of this fabric and makes it the base fabric of new ideas with old strength.
The oak leaf has been a sign of solidity and reliability since antiquity. The traditional embroideries are a classic motif of Tracht. They transfer these qualities symbolically from the Gwand to the one who loves it.
Piped buttonholes
Piped buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric neatly enclose the edges. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance.
Silk lining
is hypoallergenic and therefore ideal for those with allergies and asthma, as natural substances in the silk keep house dust mites, mould and fungi away. It regulates moisture, warms in winter and cools in summer. Silk is also flame-retardant, kind to the skin and gives a luxurious feel on the body.
