The genuine Gössl Stutzen in wool/merino wool show the traditional model pattern, the turn-over cuff is worked in a cross-honeycomb pattern. The two-colour knit was inspired by the weaving technique of the Schladminger Loden. The characteristic grey-and-white pearled appearance of the Schladminger Loden arises from fine white warp threads crossed by coarse black weft threads. A fascinating play of colour.
Merino wool
The wool of the merino sheep is a particular form of virgin wool. Its fibres are especially fine and pliable. That makes it especially soft to the touch and wonderfully gentle. It does not scratch and is nevertheless snugly warm. Merino wool is also breathable and temperature-balancing, so that merino models give pleasure all year round.
