Loden
In times past, the farmers' wives and maids spun the wool into firm threads in winter. The weaver made cloth from it before the magical Walk process began. To this day, original Loden cloth is made from wool in the traditional hammer fulling mill under the action of moisture, soap, warmth and friction. Step by step a wondrous cloth comes into being, whose versatile properties have always fascinated and inspired Gössl. It turns away wind and weather, is breathable and pleasant on the skin. In Tracht, structure and colour are today a mark of quality and lasting value.

Paspel buttonholes
Paspel buttonholes are particularly finely bound buttonholes, in which narrow strips of fabric neatly enclose the edges. This traditional tailoring technique provides stability and an elegant, precise appearance. It is regarded as a sign of high-quality workmanship and gives the Gwand a quiet, refined and long-lasting character.
