Merino wool
The wool of the merino sheep is a particular form of virgin wool. Its fibres are especially fine and pliable. That makes it wonderfully soft and gentle to the touch. It does not scratch and is nonetheless snugly warm. Merino wool is also breathable and temperature-balancing, so that merino models are a pleasure all year round.
The Habsburg double eagle
As king of the skies, the eagle stands in many cultures for grandeur and strength,
and has always been a figure of identification. The rulers of the Holy Roman Empire
showed it with two heads, representing king and emperor. Out of this long tradition the Habsburgs
borrowed their heraldic animal and made it the
widely known emblem of the Imperial and Royal monarchy.
