Jumper in pure, plain-knit merino wool. Knitted-in Habsburg double eagle. Knitted Paspel (piping) in a contrasting colour at the side and on the sleeve. Wonderfully soft and warm.
Merino wool
The wool of merino sheep is a particular form of virgin wool. Its fibres are especially fine and pliable. That makes it especially tender to the touch and wonderfully soft. It does not scratch and is nevertheless snug and warm. Merino wool is also breathable and temperature-balancing, so that merino models give pleasure all year round.
The Habsburg double eagle
As the king of the skies, the eagle stands for loftiness and strength in many cultures, and has always been a figure of identification. The rulers of the Holy Roman Empire showed it with two heads, representing king and emperor. The Habsburgs took their heraldic animal from this long tradition and made it the widely known emblem of the Imperial and Royal monarchy.
