This Dirndl blouse with delicate puff sleeves is made of fine Anna Plochl satin. A finely bobbin-made cotton lace adorns the sleeve hem. Wonderfully suited to the Salzburg Dirndl neckline. The hand-embroidered herringbone stitch with the daisy at the centre back is an unmistakable Gössl symbol.
Anna Plochl satin
Here cotton is woven in a particular way, so that the fabric acquires slightly breathable and moisture-regulating properties. Its luxuriously shimmering surface is wonderfully soft and smooth.
Herringbone stitch and daisy stitch
The herringbone stitch is a traditional hand embroidery technique in which fine, crossed stitches create a seam that is decorative and stable at the same time. It gives the Gwand a characterful, handcrafted structure and is often used as a symbolic detail for good fortune.
The daisy stitch is a delicate, floral form of embroidery in which blossom-like loops are formed. It appears playful and elegant at once and brings a light, natural ornamentation to the Gwand. Both stitches stand for traditional handwork and loving attention to detail.
