The pocket scarf in pure linen is a special collectable. Each model was printed by hand with a historical pattern in the traditional blue print process. Thanks to the handwork, every one becomes a unique original in its own right.
The blue print – intense and expressive
The blue print has a long tradition in Austria. It is a true craft, perfected early on and preserved over centuries. With its strong colour and its contrast, the traditional blue print immediately reveals a fascinating presence. The many details that make up a genuine blue print arise above all from the demanding production process. For what is printed is precisely what will not be dyed later. Traditional motifs are printed on in precise handwork with pure acacia resin. The natural drying process that follows takes up to ten weeks. Only when it is certain that the resin can fully withstand the dye is the fabric dipped into the dye bath. G\u00f6ssl takes up this heritage of textile refinement humbly, but does not shy away from adding further chapters to this success story and enriching traditional fabrics and refining techniques with new variations. Combined with new colours, G\u00f6ssl shows the blue print as an adaptable all-rounder of Tracht.
