Budapester Lederne

The Budapester Lederhose is a true masterwork. Taken from the model of the Budapester shoe, the construction of the classic broguing was transferred to the Lederhose. The traditional patterning of the Lederne was lasered out of the leather and then backed with light leather in strong contrast. On the side seam the famous lyre punching of the Budapester shoe appears, and the well-known Budapester zigzag edges have been worked into the borders.

Only selected hides of wild deer are used for the Gössl Lederhose. Thanks to the chamois tanning, the hide retains its natural surface with all its characteristics and becomes warm, soft and almost indestructible.

The original Gössl Lederhosen have belt loops, a knife pocket and a flap and gusset in the back seam. The width can thus be adjusted as the situation requires. The embroidery, too, is softly lined on the inside. The Lederhose buttons are of polished horn.

Deerskin as such stands for high wearing comfort. It is exceptionally soft, supple and light. The long, interwoven fibres of the deer hide make the leather elastic and dimensionally stable at the same time. In this way it adapts to the body ideally. At the same time it becomes enormously tear-resistant, hard-wearing and, with good care, virtually indestructible. Deerskin is permeable to water vapour and air, and therefore breathable.

The more time you spend in your Lederhose, the more it tells your shared story. At first the Lederhose may still rub off a little. The belt shown is not included in the delivery. We do recommend, however, wearing our Lederhosen with a belt. You will find a suitable selection in our range.
