The saddle bag in Original Bauernleinen presents itself artfully refined. The fine cross-stitch embroidery shows stylised roses, underlaid with delicate corded quilting in a check pattern. A leather Paspel (piping) runs along the edge. The magnetic fastening closes with a sure snap, and the strap is individually adjustable.
Bauernleinen
The Original Bauernleinen, the traditional farmhouse linen, has long been an important part of the cultural history of the Alpine region. The linen cloth was omnipresent in everyday life: bed linen, table linen, Gwand – everywhere the Bauernleinen showed its singularity through its characteristic structure. The thickenings of the spun yarns also stand out in the woven fabric, and its changeable appearance makes the Bauernleinen distinctive and singular. Gössl takes the tradition and individuality of this fabric and makes it the basis of new ideas with old strength.
