Pfoad in striped linen

The Pfoad appears in striped linen with a Gamserl (little chamois) in a slightly contrasting colour on the left chest. Buttons of mother-of-pearl with horn stand in line along the button placket.

With slight variations, the Pfoad, the traditional shirt, remains to this day a fixed part of many regional forms of Tracht. The Gössl Pfoad adds further unmistakable marks with a guarantee of authenticity to this original standard. The pull-on shirt is never buttoned all the way down at the chest, and the button placket ends in an unmistakable characteristic: the five-sided Riegerl (bar), which on request is embroidered with the monogram of its admirer. The one-time workshop Pfoad today does justice to every occasion and cuts a first-class figure in the urban jungle between coffee house, tram and gallery visit – and certainly also on the executive floor.

Gams

The Gams (chamois) is an icon among alpine wild animals. Proud and bold at once, it is the conqueror of the high mountains. Gössl shows its silhouette as a sign of the bond between people and nature.
