This somewhat longer knitted cardigan is made of merino wool. The hood with its knitted-in Lampasse gives the jacket a casual ease without appearing bulky. Fine cable and Model patterns border the front.
Merino wool
is a high-quality form of virgin wool that comes from merino sheep. It is particularly soft, fine and pleasant on the skin. Merino wool insulates well, regulates temperature and moisture, is odour-resistant and hardly creases. It is biodegradable and ideal for clothing worn close to the body.
The Lampasse
originally denoted the broad, usually coloured decorative stripes along the outer seams of uniform trousers. Over time this ornamental element also became established in civilian clothing and above all found its place in Tracht, particularly on the Steireranzug, which is adorned with the characteristic stripes. Gössl has taken up this traditional detail again and lets the Lampasse flow deftly into the design time and again. Whether as a discreet detail or a striking eye-catcher - the Lampasse is the unmistakable hallmark of the house of Gössl.
